Missing: Large lake in southern Chile

A lake in southern Chile has mysteriously disappeared, prompting speculation the ground has simply opened up and swallowed it whole.

I don't reckon it was Global warming. I mean I saw something in the news before about similar happening in the US (but in that case the water from a lake went into a salt mine killing miners and lake users.)
