If your running 64-Bit Vista then read this Thread at the Core Temp Support Center. You have to disable Driver signature in the BIOS plus do a couple of other things it appears to me to get Core Temp to work ... http://www.alcpu.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=211

Does this mean you guys are willing to sell some of your AMD dual cores for CHEAP?

AMD needs to do something soon or just forget about being the fastest CPU around. Intel rules as of now

Fast is nice, but so is cheap I'll stop crunching before I BUY an Intel. I also have a high enough electric bill for the summer. I dont know how some of you guys can run so many. I had to shut a few of mine off for the summer to take the load off of the a/c. When we get into the fall and winter months I may consider replacing a few older units with an AMD quad core. I think they will be ready before I need to add more heaters to my house.

No house needs heaters in the Winter, it just needs more computers crunching 24/7!

I was just at the AMD site reading about the release of the dual core opteron, slated for "mid 2007"
This is August 2007 right? Or did I set my clock wrong?
It says the new quads have:

    • Same thermal envelope and socket as
    AMD Opteron™ processors with DDR2

    So does that mean AM2?
