The cuts, slated for the 5th of August, are on first and second generation Opterons...The price cuts will be on the 200 and 2200 series and on the 800 and 8200 series. The 200 series will exhibit cuts ranging from between 20% to 33%, while 2200 series chips will drop from between 10 per cent to a third too.
Hope it's not just rumour!
