Your download speed : 1269880 bps, or 1240 kbps.
    A 155 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 353107 bps, or 344 kbps.

    Is that good??????
download needs tweaking... upload looks good.... go run the tests as I suggested... your results look like a TCP RCV WIN of 5740. You should have the same 400 KB/sec download I had up the street.

Nope...and if you need the java.

    http://www.sun.com

    go to "java and technologies"

then the top item is 'java for your browser'..

    download & it will install..

go to IE.... Tools - Internet Options - Advanced....
find the 'Java (Sun)' checkbox.... make sure it's checked....

    exit all IE...

    restart IE

    you are there.

Alll software and tests (including dr tcp are free)

How is this project doing lately?

When I ran it quite some time ago support was horrible. If you look under my name you will find 2 nodes and a third somewhere in limbo that ran quite a few units on its own that -never- got counted.

Why did you pick PPPOE DSL instead of cable (or do you have DSL?)

If using cable.... pick proper speeds and put in the 3000/512 you should have for service values...... If DSL... whatever you have... thought
    you had cable though.

    Using Dr TCP, either way....

    1. Find your ethernet adapter and set the MTU (bottom right corner)
    .... set MTU = 1500

    2. You might try cutting back a bit on the RWIN value a little.... not much
    .... try 46080 or 47520

    3. don't forget to hit save before exit and make sure you select the proper adapter.

I don't understand the discontinuity.... I think you should re-run using cable parameters 3000/512... or whatever you have...something is iff.

I used to not like D2OL. But i like it cause you can run it offline. My P3 sucks ass at it. But that's why it's offline. I downloaded 2000 WU's. I just have it running. I will upload them when I accumulate enough. If my calculations are correct it will take almost 80 days to process 2000 WU's on my P3.

    That sucks!!!!!!!
