I'm looking to try and connect my linux PC, my Xbox 360 and my NAS device to my wireless network.

The house has the router downstairs and I have all three items in my room. I'm was looking for a solution that would enable me to purchase one item that would allow all 3 to connect to the network via wireless without buying an item for each (dont want to get a PCI wireless card for linux, a 360 network adapter and something for the NAS)

I've seen gaming adapters about and I was thinking this might solve my problem if I put a hub before connecting it to the 3 items. But is a wireless access point exactly the same thing?

I mean I was looking at something like this as the solution. Would that work?
