    absolutely

    Stu,

    Yeah. I'm not knocking it.

I'm leaving all that to your avatar.

I've decided that you should call it "HYPNOSIS !"

LHC is out of work or something... I was gonna run Predictor but it's down too. Then I was gonna run Climate Prediction, but all my downloads are failing...

Is it me or is Boinc totally unreliable????

maybe its ok atm beerknurd but on the next upgrade it SHOULD be AMD optimised :P

looking at some other posts, boinc is pretty unreliable atm. when it has been further ironed out and predictor have found a server they will stay with and not broken it will be the way forward. it has no fancy graphics etc that take time and power to create and animate eg d2ol. also eventually i reckon most programs will have switched to this as it is easier to update. updates can be sent as workunits and then processed (installed in the case of programs). -- thinking of this surely there is a virus risk that someone could replace an upgrade that self extracts with a virus :O
correct me if im wrong but thats like playing with fire ????

Looks to me like we lost all of the points we had in the previous Team before it was deleted. If you add up the work by each member they do not show up in the team totals. Maybe our Predictor Admin could email and see if they would credit us for the work done before Chuck/Ben deleted our team.

Predictor is down for maintenance. It has been for a while. I have tried connecting to it several times, but it tells me my user info is not correct. But I log into the site with the same info with no problem.

    Beer Trouble

    Jason,

that happens quite often. The WU splitter and the web site are on separate servers but both use the same login info. Often one can be up while the other is down. I must admit its usually the web site that is down while the splitter is still available.
