So AMD is actually suggesting they allow us to crank these babies up? I am still neutral on this due to the power consumed and my affinity with energy savings at this time. Yes it is nice to see the ability to OC the machine but it is still just a dual core. The only way I am going to invest in something like this is to put more then one chip on a MB. Lets face it, the same amount of fans are placed on a one chip machine that are placed on a 4 chip machine. So don't waste the precious electrons and cause so much energy output of your costly current and future electric bills.

Enough of me Ranting Sorry, just energy conscious.

It is still just a duel core processor unless it can be overclocked to perform like a quad core. And I wouldn't think so....

Maybe it could perform that good, but you'd have to have a cryogenic chamber just to cool it down.

My X2 6000+ doesn't OC too well on standard cooling (as to be expected). I'd like to see how one of these performs against mine when it's tweaked.
