    yeah...

    Unfortunately if AMD doesn't get off the can, they will end up going the way of the Dodo bird. Loyalty is cool, but it's a two way street too. I keep seeing more and more crunching fans going over to quads. Like quads they can buy today, like intels.

    I want to see how the Phenom performs. Sources say the first models are coming out next month.

    Seeing as I have a job now (I'm a high school student), I have income to buy some hardware. I plan on going upgrading to AM2+ (Yes, possibly going back to AMD after being w/ Intel and the Pentium 4).

    That article, Nflight, is more disturbing than the one that started the thread.

    I wonder if purchasing the video card section put too much of a financial strain on the company in regards to cpu development. ???
