    Makes you wonder at those prices, If products are in fair shape, might be worth it.

    Seems like a place you could get parts for some cheap but slow crunchers. I just have trouble justifing the elec to run old crunchers. Like this one:

    It's a low price piece of juuk but you get the COA for a copy of XP Pro. So you get the machine free with the XP Pro.

    That's not bad at all... Plus you could always upgrade it... Definately worth the investment...

    That's why I'm trying to upgrade all my crunchers to quad cores

    Same here, I just couldn't see running the Older PC's anymore for what they burned up in Electricity, and thats why I'm Upgrading my Laptop even. It has a P4 3.4 HT in it but even that to me is not worth running any more, so I'm going to retire it or give it to the Little Woman to Destroy ...

    Hi LisaD. Good to see you post again.

    You are most likely right. We are all like "More Power! Ur ur ur!" so we keep the best for ourselves. When the old-cruncher becomes an old-clunker, that's when we hand it down...and co-incidentally that's often when it breaks (after it has been repaired more times than we will admit to the other-half lol).
