    Formula Boinc

    i came across this

    What is Formula Boinc ?

    Formula Boinc (FB) is a ranking system for the Boinc teams, based on the principle of the Formula 1 Championship. Each project is considered as a "Grand-Prix". The 8 best teams on each project get a fixed number of FB points. The general Formula Boinc ranking is simply obtained by adding all FB points of each team.

    This way, the number of credits (cobblestones) of each team counts less than its ranking and the number of projects each team is participating in.
    sound like a fun thing to get involved in, what does every one else think ?

    That is sweet!!
    It certainly makes this whole BOINC thing all the more competative.

    We were 4th for 2007 - A distant 4th but not too shabby when you consider all of the teams out there

    The thing is that we do alot of non-Boinc crunching such as SoB, Folding@Home, EON, D-Pad, and others. But it still looks like fun. One of the highest outputs we had last year was on Pi Segment and it was non-Boinc.
