Spot Cooling your CPU
I am a scientist and always looking for enhancements to existing technology progression. Put out new things and you have my interest, even if it is about the weirdest things. Today I found an article from one of our adversaries, they had an article I was interested in and as I followed up on this area of technology, I thought everyone else would like to read about it to.
Over Clocking our systems to out perform the competition is very important to many of us, so looking for ways to cool our systems is something on many peoples minds. Read This Article: http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post...p-package.html
Then once your well with in the idea of why I chose this article read the web site: http://www.nextreme.com/ And while your at it watch the video at the bottom... Look at how tiny this thing is! Unbelievable...
Challenge me, or correct me, but don't ask me to die quietly.
…Pursuit is always hard, capturing is really not the focus, it’s the hunt ...

imagine a cpu cooler with those things! Hello high core speeds!

That's a tiny peltier cooler, very nice. You'll need a whopping heat sink to dissipate that heat off

The Thin-Film Thermoelectric Generator (eTEG) described has a higher watt density than earth-based PV cells - at a delta-T of 120°K (3W/cm2). If they could be made cheaply into sheets, a mirror condensing solar system could be quite productive.

^ Yeah and that
