    The 9900 looks very impressive. I hope it isnt to expensive i'd like to give one of these a shot when they are out. I imagine if they would have used DDR2 1066 we would see an even better performance?

    From the few Reviews I've seen on it the AMD 9900 does quite well at Stock speeds against the Intel Q6700 so that's a plus for it but it has 3 things already against it.

    1. The Reviewers could only get it to Overclock to 3.0Ghz (Better Motherboards & or BIOS Improvements could bring that up some I guess)
    2. it's going to be priced around $350
    3. It's already been pushed back to the 2'nd Quarter of 2008 for release & that may be pushed back even further ...

    So I can still go out & get a Q6600 for $100 less and run it 3.6Ghz+ which would make it a better deal. But for AMD People with Motherboards that will accept the new CPU it could be a better way to go to save some money ...
