Sure would be nice if someone would make a motherboard for that chip.... drool... of course Sony wouldn't like that as there would go the major market of DC crunching which has sold a bunch of ps3's -- 30,000+ just being used on f@h alone.

I am recovering from a minor BOINC event with my PS3's...Steep learning curve on Graphical Linux. This must not be a problem for the 'Text' only users.

I happened to 'switch' to the BOINC manager 'Simple View' on my PS3's (just to look at it...drat). Then closed the window. This combination of actions seems to shut-down the BOINC Client. Unlike having the 'Normal' BOINC Manager window open.

So both boxes were down for a while. One was down long enough (12 hours+!!!) that my Wu's expired on completion. All that werk and no points.

I'm back working on new Wu's on both boxes now....I should be up to full output by Thursday.

Yup I had a WU time expire on me 2 days ago and lost the credit for it to. Really sucks after the thing ran for 32 hours. I also had to reset the project once when I first started due to some quirk like what you describe.
