Jeff Gilchrist has written a "helper application" designed to get D2OL and TSC to run at IDLE priority. Details here:

I find it allows me to share my CPUs 50:50 between D2OL and 17 or Bust.

Here is another tool for D2OL/TSC called DSPy. This tool is running in the background logging the whole process and shows:
1. Node Number
2. Last Uploaded
3. Candidate
4. Number of Atoms
5. Complete Works
6. Tasks Quequed
7. Target
8. Rotatable Bonds
9. Time Elapsed (How long every task takes)
10. Time Total (Total time it takes to crunch 20 candidates)
11. Time Remaining

There is also other useful funktions.
