That is running at 3.0 Ghz, I need to get back to tweeking one day I think it should do more seeing it's on water. 3100 runs prime for about 20 minutes, eventually locks up, have to figure out what the problem is yet, and I still can up the HTP to 2600, running at 2400 right now for a little cushion.

The Gigabyte DS4 is dead I have down new bios and it accept overvolt + 0,1V.
when I have save to bios and boot, main bord is dead... but one Phenom at 1,4Vcore is easy... I non have wrong.
I have test with all, and is mobo dead. Now I have buy DFI 790FX lan-party voip (in really is dfi but Sapphire).
Now I have ali 850W Arkangel, mobo DFI, and WB little, Thermaltake 745, but ok I think for go 3,2-3,3GHz at + 0,1V overvolt.

    With DS4 I was rock solid at 3,045GHz (203x15).
    With DS3 I'm rock solid at 3,075 (205x15).

    With DS4, > 3,150GHz pc not boot.
With DS3, at 3,248GHz (203x16 Vcore +0,025), pc boot and load windows. Next crash if work

For NB, is ok 2400MHZ, ok 2,5GHz..... work but not sure > 2,5GHz <2,6GHz. If I set NB 2,601, crash sure 100%.

Ramjet I am in awe of your avatar. I also looked hard enough to know I also have the same Case that you have on one of my systems. I like the light show it used to have but i removed the glowing effects to reduce my electric bill.

    Nice Job !

Challenge me, or correct me, but don't ask me to die quietly.

I have a feeling its an Antec Sonata case (not a clue wether it is a II or a III) I have a III myself for the q6600 and an Antec 900 for the amd

Thanks NFlight, I took my time with this one to try to keep it clean looking, I think it paid off, I'm happy with it. I replaced all the fans in it with Thermaltake and Rosewill variable speed fans with a three pin plug, vs the molex that all 5 fans came with. (what's up with that?) I needed the three pin for the zallman fan controller I added. Frederick, you guessed wrong, sorry, it's an Apevia Navigator case. I posted a few picks on Xoxide's website (where I purchased it). A few more pics here http://customerpics.xoxide.com:80/vi...=19011&id=1432 the ones by Ramjet. Note, that Koolance drop in kit INX-720BK fit beautifully in here.

I have now 2 Phenom 9850. The second 9850 have < power in overclock... is 2,8-2,9GHz limit in Vcore def.
Tomorrow I think I have pomp.... the old pomp is dead... and without WB is impossible overclock 9850. With dissipator standard, at 3GHz, at Vcore def, > 71° C.... is near dead.
Matherborad are M3a32-MVP deluxe and DFI M2R.
M3a32-MVP is easy for overclock... but DFI is very hard... is all free, and for this I think very best, but... lol, I have work for 24 years in assembled PC X86... but understandt that bios is for me very hard...
I hope in help in forum Hardware Upgrade and forun DFI.
    Next I post all.
    But I think... with one 9850... my be 3,4GHz... but 2h 9850 I hope in 3,1GHz..
    Next month 9950... 2,6GHz and 125W TDP.
07 and 08 (month) is possible Phenom FX at 45nm... but not Deneb... always 512KB L2 and 2MB L3. Denem next september sure...
