    Jeff,

I am getting a series of 3 to 10 in-page-error messages at the top of the forum pages only:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/amduser/public_html/themes/amdusers/theme.php:202) in /home/amduser/public_html/includes/sessions.php on line xxx

It started around the time the site was upgraded but I also think my instance of Firefox 1.0 is stuffed because I am also getting rendering errors as well and they don't show up all the time in IE.

I am going to dump this install of Firefox tomorrow and re-download & install it again and see how I go.

    Jeff,

I know you said there was a code error and I don't know if you have been working on it, but my error messages have allgone.

Last night I'd had an absolute gut-ful of "holes-in-walls". The next person that asks me anything (family / friends) about windows is going to get ignored...unless they pay me. I recompiled the LinModem driver and got my primary Linux install talking to the net. :D

"holes-in-walls" is dead, long live Open Source !
Oh it is good to be back. ...like slipping into a warm sleeping bag with your girlfriend.

The first thing I noticed is that all those browser errors are gone (same version of firefox - haha can't test IE - shame about that - NOT !) So are my LAN problems. It is so much more responsive and for some reason the downloads are definitely faster. My LAN file transfers are now almost instantaneous. Oh how I have missed this. From now and forever - no more hardware that won't work on Linux - stupid mistake.

I will have finished cutting my whole network over to Linux (ah - bliss) in an hour or so. I'm still annoyed that I have to keep 1 "holes-in-walls" install on a disk for my son's win-games and my connection to work. Just have to live with it for the moment, but at least it won't EVER be connected to the interet again.

My DC production is down a bit for the moment, but I know the investment is worth it.

When I have log in I click on a topic for to write a reply, the side automatically changed to the log in side under your account. I must do a log in again but fail to go in. I click on “home” and my avatar has been “removed”. I restarted Internet and got back to AMD users. Now was my avatar there again without I have log out. I tried to log in several times and lather I see I was OFFLINE whole times. It was hopeless to get in. When I log out it works not properly. I get a message that says, “ You are now logged out”. However it seems as “log out” fail to work. Next time I open AMD users my avatar shows there. I tried to go in and send a replay but it change again to the log in side there I ounce should loge in. I tried it but it goes to hell to get in. Restarted Internet does a log in and goes to a topic, open it and should try to write a reply. The same moment as I has described happen again. Couldn’t do anything such send a email to you or write a message in the forum. I gave up and E-mailed Vaughan and Meckano because I have theirs private E-mail address. I hope to get an answer from them and ask if they also had this or another problem. Got answer from Meckano 1,30 o’clock tonight that Meckano say it works well for him. I was thinking that I have been Persona Non Grata.

Edit: Forgotten to say this message is created on another computer on my job

    Thanks for posting this but, I haven't E-mailed Spjeff. I couldn't. I have E-mailed you and Vaughan. I don't have Spjeffs private E-mail address.

    Haj Lagu!

You are not P-N-G. Maybe there is a cookie problem.
Sometimes the browser drops people out of the forum.
I think there was a solution, but I cannot remember.

Jeff and Vaughan know better than me.
They will be able to help when they log on later.

    AMDave.

i have had similar problems with logging in but only on certain machines - and that only seems to be when i am logged on at home with a browser open.

dave - i can't see how the cookies would affect it.

    dunno. Just guessing (badly).
I never had the problem, even when others did.
I only had similar behaviour when I locked up my account.
Thats why I deferred to our admins.
