    F@H on nVidia...

They finally announced that they will soon be releasing an nVidia client that will run on 8xxx series and newer cards. I have been waiting so long for this. They are showing that the new nVidia card that comes out in June runs F@H 5 times faster than a PS3!

Keith please keep us informed when they release this new client. There are lots of Nvidia GPUs in my pharm.

I basically stopped running F@H when the ATI and PS3 clients were released and they performed so much better than the standard CPU clients.

Darn I have 2 6600's not high enough and my board will not see the new versions, time to look at upgrading again ~!

I've also seen a client out for the 2xxx and 3xxx ATI/AMD GPU's.... I've also learned they will be ending support for the 1xxx GPU's(June 2??). That takes 3 GPU's off line for me. I hope this isn't going to be a trend with GPU clients. My understanding from reading the forums the 1xxx still outperform the ps3. I guess I will retire my PS3 from folding when they drop the 1xxx series GPU's. It may just be to hot this summer to run it anyway. Maybe this fall they will have some real interesting prices on GPU"S that can crunch.

I am pretty sure the new nVidia card is around 3 times faster than the HD3870.

Awesome, I'd love to give folding with my 8800GT a try.
