new laptop

Hi Guys,

I just got a slick new HP AMD turion powed dual core laptop. It has all of the latest bells and whistles and a cool swiveling touchscreen enabled monitor screen to make it into a tablet based setup for drawing or writing with the attached script pen. Best of all, it only weighs 4.5 pounds. I've traveled around the world quite a bit for work in the last several years, and let me tell you, a heavy laptop gets old, Real quick.

Sounds great mitchellds! It's always fun to acquire a new uum..device to fill in the hours whislt you travel. Music, games, movies. Nice to have in your carry-on.

My guess...HP Pavilion tx1000 tablet PC ???

Tablet Pc's have always been kind of an on again, off again device it seems. I remember a friend of mine had a 486sx Tablet PC (years ago), running windows 3.1 with a whopping 4 meg of ram!! Don't remember the name, Dolphin??

Hi Bender, glad your still kicking. Yup good educated guess. That's it. Except I got it with 3gb of memory. I get to try it out starting tomorrow. I'm going on work travel a couple of hundred miles out into the Atlantic for a week. I hope I dont wear out the entertainment parts of that puter to soon with all those extra hours I'm gonna have.
