    LHC units going out

Got my 2 first LHC new wu's today - SixTrack 4.7 looking at 16mins a piece, but they've been going for a bit now and the progress bar hasn't moved yet...

    EDIT:

Just checked the LHC@home site - says no work available...

    They're just teasing us!

I've returned to crunch after giving my PC a 3 month break.

Working on this and the new WCG Clean Energy project.

    Rhody here,

Just joined LHC@home and was wondering if any tasks are being assigned. it does not appear so, I have my profile pretty wide open, am running an AMD Athlon 7750 dual core processor at 2.7 Ghz
Is LHC Home up and issuing tasks ?

    Thanks in advance...

    Rhody...

Rhody as I mentioned above a trickle of work units, well I have received enough to raise my points by 180 in these two months. Almost a week goes but then I will receive one WU, its depressing maybe I will reach 10,000 someday, but in 11 years is my prognosis at this rate! So Sad

    Welcome to the Team Rhody!

Feel free to come by and drop some posts about anything. We are mostly oriented to Distributed Computing but that's not a limiting factor. Have fun while you're around and if you got any questions just ask.

And now for some publicity on my own works... If you would like to know more about the history of our Team here, just look at our Wiki page
