    Another crazy-assed idea...

...and yes, I have a lot of them.

It has just come to my attention that running P4's on Climate Prediction is not the best use of a P4, XP's out perform them clock to clock speed. So I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to setup a table showing the best performers (CPU wise) for each project. Possible showing a clock speed/timings AMD vs Intel?

    Sounds good.

Also, a reminder that Linux leaves Windows for dead in eOn.

where someone recently said at the top of every forum have a description and link for client download,
you could add whcih processor was best and why, i mean obviously with the add on P4 and AMD64 are best at 17 but this is different in otherprojects and we might as well be "synchronised" and get the best prouction rates we can.

How the hell do you know Eon is running..... All I get is....

    Dimer Initialize

    Dimer DoAssignment
    Dimer Start:

Does that mean it's going??? There's no GUI?? Just command line???

Check your task manager to see what's using the most of the cpu?

    I don't run eOn, but that's what I'd do.

It uses processor power when it's going... But I like to have something I can click on to see some stats.... At least a pretty little pie chart/graph or maybe a bar filling up while a task is running... But with Eon you get squat....

Guess I won't run that one..... Mot too many people running that one anyways....

    Is anyone running Eon???

Maybe I should check Stuarts nifty little stats page.
