    Korea@Home - Client app explained

Here's what I have so far figured out from the client application. Not even having the korean characters available on the OS makes alot of stuff appear with "????" which makes it even harder to decode.

    Starting with...

    The login screen

It is convenient to set the options to save the username and password and to automatically perform login.
If you don't already have an account you can press the Register button to go to the website to create an account.

    The toolbar

I think that in english it becomes self-explanatory what each button does. The most important thing to check is the Agent Settings, where you configure your agent the way you want to and with the projects you wish.

    Main Info Screen

This screen shows the active projects, what workunits we have, and a log of events. There is not much more to say about this screen, other than you should see workunits for one or more projects, otherwise you're out of work.

    CPU & Resources Usage

Not much to say about this one. It's the CPU and memory monitoring section, with usage graphs. The left side graph is clearly CPU usage, but the two on the right side are unknown to me.

    Agent & Project Info

Not much to say about this one either. It shows info about our PC, the MegaFlops it can produce, the team, number of workunits, other participants, etc...

    Agent Settings (Left side)

I still have many unknown fields as you can see. But these are the most quick to understand.
The process priority combo box only has two options. The top one is "Low Priority" and the bottom one is "Idle Priority". In Low priority it can share cpu with other low priority processes running. In Idle priority it only runs if there's absolutely nothing else running.
The maximum number of workunits one can queue seems to be limited to 30. Don't know if it is 30 overall or 30 per core yet.
Note the start delay option that is by default set to 5 minutes upon agent instalation. It is best to disable it so that the agent starts immediatly and keeps on running even while there is user interaction.

    Agent Settings (Right side)

The right side of the settings screen is dedicated to the projects. You can enable and disable specific ones to your needs. Note that some appear to already have been finished (Check their info), and others have very little work available.
There are blue and orange markers at the left of each project. Blue markers mean that the project is active and/or has work, while orange means that the project is inactive and/or out of work.

Hope this helps in working with this client app!
