    Need Windows and Bandwidth Help

    Hello all my technical guru's.
I am in need of some help on a windows OS system running XP. Seems the operator can not send files larger then 800 kilobytes using Outlook Express.
The Owner of the company would like me to fix the problem without installing any other programs.

Bandwidth limits can be accessed through HKEY resources but this is where there are options of too many to choose.

There provider allows 13 meg files to be sent as I am on the same provider. There is a sub provider however that is where they host there domain, could this be the frustration?

Any guidance and direction on this frustration would be much appreciated~!

If the file isn't too big, it could be cut into small lumps by various free software tools. Then send each small lump then re-construct the file when all bits received.

Ototero I said in the post that no other software could be installed. That means each person this operator would be sending to would need to install this self unscramble software. I know that is not going to work!

Liuqyn - That looks promising. Will have to take a peak at that and get back to you.

Please any other suggestions would be very helpful. The more diverse approach on this frustration the better the results.

    Thanks to everyone in advance.

When you say "HKEY" I'm thinking windows registry.
Take a look at this KB Article from Microsoft:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315008/en-us

But I think this only applies if the problem is that Outlook hangs upon sending. Do you have specifics on what happens when the operator tries to send? Any particular error messages or something like that?
