    10 Million

Finally achieved my long term goal of 10,000,000 in the eOn Project. It seems to have taken an eon to get there. In recent months Uni Texas have had very few eOn tasks to crunch and I have had over 50 instances running eOn across my 28 acre pharm, from the mighty I7 920 all the way to the little eeePC 701 running a Celeron M at 900MHz plus my old faithful AMD Athlon XP 2800+. Even my late mother's mobile Athlon XP 2400+ Compaq notebook has been running 3 instances 24/7 for the last year.

Sort of puts paid to the inappropriate comment once posted by an Arsian who had the temerity to post that I wouldn't stick to running eOn for long. If its one quality I possess its to not suffer fools gladly.

Not the CPUs they are better off elsewhere; Milkyway's optimized clients are good value.

I could put some GPUs when they finally get a stable ie non-beta, client on to Dnet. My Opteron165 / Inno3D 8800GT computer is struggling along with the current Linux beta for RC5.

    Nice job Vaughan

Challenge me, or correct me, but don't ask me to die quietly.

It must be nice to have easy goals

Seriously, congratulations on getting to 10th overall. I know just how hard this is, and it took me about a year to get there when there was a steady stream of work. Now, I can barely keep one computer busy with Eon, much less my farm (small though it is).
