    AMD Users Wiki

I've been working on this on and off for some time, and am in need of some feedback and ideas.

    www.amdusers.com/wiki

What do you guys think? Is it going ok, or could use some changes? I have a few ideas but I think I need more. My main focus has always been on the stats info, members, projects, etc, does anyone have any ideas of other stuff I could add?

Warning: Some pages may be incomplete.

    AMD Users Wiki

The information is accurate and informative, it is a long read but serves its purpose of informing anyone who would read till the end. What else does it need, Well let me think on it, as it seems informative enough in my first impression.

How expansive would you like to take it?

Would you be willing to do personal interviews with some of the long standing members and post those with permission - Discussing issues like member participation, Moderating the Web Site and screening the fake members from the real ones, etc etc etc.

Could you place that map of the members and where they are located in or near into this wiki? I can't remember where that map is or the URL~?

Still thinking and I will get back to you with more as I hope others will comment on this developing platform, come on Guys and Gals lend a hand!

The list of AMD Users by country may be a pretty big undertaking... That information is not available on all user profiles.

Although a good idea, it may be a huge headache... Especially PM'ing people and waiting for their response...

Yep Beerknurd, that's why I'm starting first by the ones I know of, you, vaughan, Dave, Nflight, gamer, and the people I know better. The ones I may have doubts I'm leaving for later.

Nflight, I don't really know how expansive I would like, but right now all I'm adding is numbers, numbers, numbers, and altough I know it's good and we all like stats, I feel there should be something more to it.
The map is a cool idea, I got to see if I can add it. I have the link on the bottom of the main wiki page, it's the Frappr map.

    Looks good so far.

I like the idea of an interview with members too. Questions like how did one started distributed computing and whatnot.

I looked around but I don't think I can add the Frappr map. It would need an upgrade to a new version of the wiki plus some add-ons, because the wiki doesn't seem to accept html code blocks. Maybe I'll nag Jeff one of these days to look into it.

I'm thinking of adding on the users some links, or maybe even the stats sigs, from boinc synergy, free-dc, or other stats sites. I have to look into it and try it. That way not only one could see its past projects on the table, but also its current stats on the same page.

Hmm... upon studying gamer's signature pic, which I selected because it was the closest one to my post, I found out that mundayweb's sigs can be faked...

Hope you don't mind this little hack I did with your sig gamer

The thing is that mundayweb's sigs send back the all the data to the user on the http address, and with the data on my hands I can do anything I want.
