Stats- what are the negatives?

Every so often I end up with negatives. What's that all about?

Usually this is caused by a glitch in the SOB application itself. The workaround is to stop SOB when it has completed its first block. Reboot Windows and let SOB restart. It should continue where it left off. Sometimes it doesn't for reasons unknown. If this occurs when you have processed 100s of blocks it can start with a new k / n combination. You lose all the work done on the previous block and your stats go negative.

Another workaround is to recover the abandonded blocks k / n combination. It is in another thread in the SOB section of our forums.
