    Flood of BURP WUs

I've never seen so many WUs waiting on BURP... over 100,000! They must really be having fun with those 3D animations.

Crunch times can vary from minutes to hours depending on the frame you get to render.

    Anyone wanna grab a few?

    Oh my, that's a lot!

For it, it was almost always hard to get one. Looks like I'll be putting a core or 2 on it. Still wanting to find more primes. Seems really difficult these days.

I would love to join in the fun, but they won't allow new accounts!

They still have the silly limit of two tasks per CPU core per day; its about 2-3 hours work a day so you need a backup project or two.

I think it's just 2 per core at a time, so when you finish one you get one more.

    Oh that's much better then.

I'm concentrating on NPLB to see if I can catch Brucifer.

(Where's the poking a stick emoticon when I need it!)

Burp is the kind of project where you can submit your own animations for rendering.

Depending on how complex your animation is and how many frames it got, they calculate a minimum "credit" you have to have to be able to submit it. That's the spendable credit.
