Hey Neo, sorry that I made this confusing
I think I should just be in the quad race.
    I have 1 dualy, and 2 singles.

    1060908 - X2 - Dual
    1061200 - P4 - single
    502707 - Celeron - Single

    Is that correct?

    Thanks!!
If you can't make it ... Don't come!

Yes, that is correct. A sum of 4 cores.
Actually, I didn't notice before but I wrote down one of your hosts on two categories which is against the rules.

Now it is corrected and you are only in the 4-core race.

Second round of trial values sent to everyone by PM.

We are going to have an epic battle here, between an Intel i7 and several Phenom II's. But for now, I'm the only one that can see how they perform. The rest of you will just have to wait for the contest start.

    Hey NeoGen!

I got your mail so thank you. Nowadys i only run one computer. The AMD 64 is crazy, Intel PII is sinked into the sea and AMD Athlon is too slow and not running often.

The Intel Core duo is the only as is powerful enough but I run this computer only a fem hours per day. No 24 hours here.

The electrical bill has been too high so i must be careful. But I wich all contributors good luck.

Don't know if it's true, but as long as the remaining three cores work allright, and the price is right, I guess it's a good plan, and minimizes waste.
    i guess it's called harvesting:

So when is the new official start date Neo? I think I'll enter a quad and a dual just for fun to see if I can keep up

I'll send you the ID's a little later after I get home and set them up.

    T-4 days and counting...

On Monday 0:00 UTC (rosetta server time) the contest will be officially started.

But due to the problem of the different times on each corner of the globe I'll admit WUs received by the hosts up to 12 hours before that. This is the ideal time span in which the participants can flush their caches (if needed) and reload again with WUs for the contest.

Here's a few examples of the 12 hours span on different places:
    - Chicago (UTC - 5): Sunday, 7:00 (am) to 7:00 (pm)
    - New York (UTC - 4): Sunday, 8:00 (am) to 8:00 (pm)
    - Paris (UTC + 2): Monday, 2:00 (am) to 2:00 (pm)
    - Moscow (UTC + 4): Monday, 4:00 (am) to 4:00 (pm)
    - Sydney (UTC + 10): Monday, 10:00 (am) to 10:00 (pm)

In some places it's better than others, but in everywhere there's at least one morning, afternoon, or evening available for the cache recycling. After those 12 hours indicated, the race is on!

I only advise people not to make the cache reload on the early limit, that is, right at the start of the 12 hour timespan. Just in case the server tags the WUs with a wrong time and then they won't be picked up here on the stats. Give it an hour or two to be sure there won't be mistakes.

I'll also send a PM to remind everyone with this info before the contest start.

4 days? Oh man. It's coming by fast.

I'm assuming you're to do one of mass PM for our performances?
