looking at some of the other pluses I would also like to bump Poem a little, dial-up friendly and 1.5-2 hour run times on average.

That's the kind of stuff we need to know to choose a really good project for the race.

POEM is now ahead of all others, with 16 points (by features)

I just learned that Rosetta is NOT dial-up friendly, as I've done a reset on it to fill up the queues, and it downloaded over 20 Mb of stuff, and each WU seems to be over 2Mb.

would be curious to see where rosetta would stack up with this great scoring system you've come up with.

    Good question!

Altough it's already selected and running, I'll add it up just for fun.

EDIT: Done. I confirmed it as not having a limit on WUs, I never noticed any. And altough I remember a few weeks ago of some reports of bad WUs, I think it was an isolated incident, and I didn't see any more lately, so I marked it green as well.
Total 16 points, side by side with POEM on the top.

Did a small change on the scoring system, now red is -1 points.
I thought best and it wasn't fair to have red and unconfirmed the same. This way if we find flaws on the projects they will lose points.
But everything stayed the same in the table. Just minus one points for practically every project.

Well... we have to keep on going, so I select POEM@Home for Race 2, as it is clearly a very good project to race on (feature-wise).

    RACE 2 - (May 25th - May 30th) - POEM@Home

I would still like to see more contributions to the poll fellows.

How about Enigma, SHA Collision or Rectilinear Crossing Number, these are projects that seem to have plenty of work, are dial-up friendly = small tasks, have reasonably long task task validity (I mean long expiry date) and we haven't use them as Race projects before.

Maybe add VTU as it seems to have constant work these days too.

I added sha1, and rectilinear.. With a few more info they should be on the top of the list.

I'm having difficulty getting in the vtu site, the site appears to be very slow.

Due to lack of progress, this project is put on hold. No new workunits will be generated for the time being.

question on yo-yo, why does it get a red on "credit favorable 64bit app" when primegrid gets yellow for the same thing?

also OGR may not be good either, frequently runs over 24hr per task.

    also dial-up friendly.
