no, I'm not yet. This new asus p6t6 ws board has a good heatsink and heatpipe that seems to do a good job getting heat away.

Hummm...my freakin Vista %6$#@* is rebooting almost every day and I can't tell why... I lost eleven hours Monday on race 3 because of a hang. I'm really thinking about going back to XP.

    Cool

throw that alpha software away and go wigwam.

I reboot when I want to instead of when Bill wants to.

that IS a pretty striking mobo *envious*! thankfully i'm not looking at it daily/weekly/monthly so i can live with my poop brown mobo (as some review site referred to it ;)

what are your IOH/X58 temps? mine were over 100C given enough time. it got worse when i replaced the thermal adhesive with Arctic Silver 3. installed the SR-05 IFX (those silver things) and dropped the temps under 50C.

wow, that's a massive drop in temps there, impressive. I've read that 100c is their operation max temps. Mine is running in the high 60 range with nothing done to it, and it doesn't seems to be a problem yet. I did see a water block available that would fit it if need be.

If I can make some time this week, I think I'll bump up my OC some more since I left some head room. Jason seems to be on the War Path this week, and has finally got his AMD spinning up it seems.

Well I guess it was my turn today, I lost about 6 Hrs. of crunching due to a power failure. Looking back at the posts, people sure seem to be having problems in this race. Black Adder, just a thought, I was getting random reboots on my 9850 (with WinXP though), and traced it to a ram/heat issue. When the memory got up to 96F, it would reboot. Placed a fan blowing directly on it, that solved the problem.

I am not sure how much higher I can go with this thing. I'm only using it to heat my water at the moment. I could always hook it to the spa or pool :P I think they were hitting 4 to 5 ghz on some of these... I think I'm only getting started here.
