    That was some interesting reading from that URL Nflight. :-) However, even if the 58xx were available like bubblegum in a candy store, I wouldn't have the spare bux to buy one. Maybe if wages were keeping up with the inflation rate, but that isn't happening. So, lots and lots of people aren't buying like they used to.

    5970s are about AUD1,000 here. I'm sure I could buy a cheaper hair-dryer/BBQ/power broom. Maybe ATI and Nvidia need to supply some noise cancelling headphones with their GPU cards?

    Yup, would sure be nice to have one. However there is a LOT of other things in this world that I would like too, that cost less than this gpu...............

    agree, thats just to pricey for my blood. The 5850's are plenty enough IMO.
