    climate prediction error.

    i have run boinc error free since i can remember, i have had this error come up this evening, any ideas why ?? :


    2004-10-25 16:40:30 - Resuming computation and network activity
    climateprediction.net - 2004-10-25 18:25:00 - Result 3100_100162688_0 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file
    climateprediction.net - 2004-10-25 18:25:00 - If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project.
    climateprediction.net - 2004-10-25 18:25:00 - Restarting result 3100_100162688_0 using hadsm3 version 4.04
    climateprediction.net - 2004-10-25 18:26:05 - Result 3100_100162688_0 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file
    climateprediction.net - 2004-10-25 18:26:05 - If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project.
    climateprediction.net - 2004-10-25 18:26:05 - Restarting result 3100_100162688_0 using hadsm3 version 4.04

    lol, i assumed your post would be something along those lines, i have just got got the same for LHC. i think i will re-boot machine and see if it helps, i have aload of upfates that want a re-bot aswell so hopefully everything will be solved

    Seems that that would be the best thing to do.

    I think it is a project error not a BOINC error.
    Are the rest of your BOINC projects running fine ?

    predictor lol :P

    nah, seti is going well just got that error in climate and once so far in LHC

    I got that several times before. Someone posted that in one of the forums, I 4got whether it was SETI, LHC or Climate.

    doesnt really answer the question tho, nothing is posted saying how to solve it.

    I found out how to fix the problem.

    1. Format hard drive.
    2. Reinstall Boinc.
    3. Send Jason $300.00 for his tech support fee.
