Wait... you got 10 primes found already according to the Primes Pages. Unless I'm not following the proof codes right... are you Pascal Vandaele?

nope, but I have no idea how that site is setup either. I just searched for the number that primegrid listed for me.

I wonder if primegrid listed it for my wingman and not for me?

well, until I hear something different, I'm going to dismiss this as a primegrid screwup. maybe someday soon I'll get my name on a prime and then I'll get all excited...

Run some non-BOINC No Prime Left Behind and you will find some Primes!

It might have been that primegrid's automatic systems submitted both you and the wingman because you two found it at very close timings. For example that guy Pascal submitted at 10:00 am (for example) and primegrid checked with the prime pages and since it was new, they submitted it.
But then at 10:30 am you also submitted the same workunit and the previously submitted one hadn't been verified yet on the primes pages, so PrimeGrid's automatic systems once again checked the prime pages, and since it didn't appear there (because it had not been fully verified yet), they submitted it again and sent you an email about it.

And finally... the prime pages discarded yours because once the first one was fully verified, yours was next on queue and was seen as a previously submitted copy.

I wonder if that was the case...

could be, all but the e-mailing me part. I just seen that I had one on primegrids site. so apparently even though my wu found a prime, it was no longer new so it was just a waste of my cpu time. luckily they run fast and I did get boinc credit.

    All right!! Now we're talking!

I'm currently away on 4th of July extended weekend with my spouse's family, but when I come back home I will do a round up of everyone's new prime numbers.
