    40,000,000 credits on Einstein@Home!!

Just 4 years ago I started a thread posting that we reached 10 Million credits on this project, and now I am creating another to celebrate the 40,000,000 credits!!!

Congratulations Team! Thanks to our current 575 members (and growing) on this project we achieved this great milestone!

    Onwards to the 50 Millions!

Actually, we are over 58 million in Einstein now. It's not exciting, it's not sexy but it's work.

Replaced my son's 4800+ processor with my old opty 185 and got his GPU working on Einstein now. He's stomping my 4-core. (mumble).

So, now I have AMD 3800+, 4800+ and 5200 processors with no home. They don't seem to sell boards for these anymore.

    Hi Steve,

Still no boards found for these? Some shops still sell Socket 754/939/940 boards, but at too high a price performance-wise.

BTW: 73,172,503.16 in Einstein as of today

We have revived a board our two when they had bulged caps in the cpu area. I do have an opty 165 and 5000+ that are homeless as well. The 165 came from an Asus board that failed to post. The 5000 is leftover from upgrading to quad cores.

Still for sale here in the Netherlands, if you know where to look:
    Socket 939 boards
    Socket 754 boards
Sadly no 940 boards anymore. My old company has a spare, a dual Tiger Micro, for a customer that does not do business with them anymore.
I do not list the Socket F boards due to the ridiculous prices.....
