So I have been having in the plans to someday build a dedicated home NAS, with at least 5 hard drives, and to my surprise as I have been checking hard drive prices they all spiked through the roof!2Tb and 3Tb hard drives just doubled price in many online stores.
After digging around online a little I found that apparently with the floods in Thailand, it seems the hard drive industry (and possibly others) has been severely affected.
