Only trouble is that no shops here in Aus have the Ares in stock. I think I'll wait and see what the 6990 has to offer.

or wait until the HD6990 comes out in the next few months. it should be roughly 6950 x2.
-
I do hope the hypothetical ASUS Thor will be a HD 6970 X2....will be needing a 1400 Watt power supply by then as well, just to be sure...

In my proven experience so no slander involved, Digitan employ the classic but illegal "bait-and-switch" strategy. They advertise they have the product, take your Credit card details then say "sorry last one sold just before your order was received" They then try to get you to buy something similar but more expensive. I demanded my credit card debt be reversed.
Their other trick is to have a website that displays heaps of product titles but on further exploration they are all "out of stock".
Penta are known for the notebook computer deals not much else. I haven't tried them so the umpire is out for them.
Onlinecomputer have been OK in the past but a tad on the expensive side.
I'll wait until the HD6990 gets released.
Just ordered another MSI GTX460 1GB Hawk from Arthur and the good guys at MTechcomputers.com.au for the upcoming PrimeGrid Summer Solstice race.

I don't know where I have been but I just noticed this post, thank you one and all.
Challenge me, or correct me, but don't ask me to die quietly.
