    Dnet Dump & Counter-Dump

AMDave dumps in OGR and RC5 after what he thinks is a crafty project-shift on Sunday.

    Then Vaughan Counter-Dumps !
    In both. !
    As well !

    DOH !

    Impass.

    The gauntlet-pretending-not-to-be-a-gauntlet continues...

    Dnet-1000

I just worked out that OGR-25 Phase II needs 3892 per day to meet the 1000-Christmas goal. So if we keep today's rate we should bring it home.

RC5-72 though will need 1471 per day. That's a lot more activity than we usually have so my guess was right. Unless there is a large injection of resource it will take until about Easter-05.

So I think I'll keep the hammer down in OGR-P2 until the goal is reached and then swicth to RC5-72 and do the same there.

DMMc has pushed nicely up into Team Rank 2 in OGR-P2 which has given us a good leg-up. He did post over 500 in RC5-72 in one day. I hope he gets his setup back up after moving soon.

At the moment I could push just over 200. I must get that other machine online this weekend. I still have one on SoB, but I'd like to keep it there.

Dave, I've just started RC5-72 on my Intel 399MHz.

    It's crunching at 750,000 keys/second.

    Will that help :?:

Of course every little bit helps, but your cycles on that CPU model would be more valuable on OGR-P2.

If you select Configure on the menu,,
then 2) Buffer and Buffer Update Options
    then 9) Load-work precedence
and change the preference to OGR-P2,RC5-72=0,OGR=0

then you will be crunching pure OGR-25 Phase II and we may make that goal you set.

Mine normally suspends the current WU and starts on the new preferred
It should do this as you select 0 then 0 to back out of the menu.
If you just exited it probably did not get to save the new config.

Otherwise let it finish the WU and see if it changes.
