so what is the speed increase of running as a service compared to dos box like then - in IBM java, surely the saving isnt that vast.

From what I've garnered from other forums, the Sun SDK -server parm gives the same speed as IBM java.

I have no comparison times for Dos / CLI.

i was wondering if there was an equivilent for the -server command that was possible in IBM - then they would be really good lol.
