Einstein@Home preparing to go live!

Old... but I was away.

Note that the Einstein@home server will be up and down and possibly unstable during the coming week, as we install new hardware and prepare to go public. Also, we will soon start providing new workunits that take 12 times as long to execute as the current test workunits.

*sigh* My WUs take around 45min. Gonna take about 9 hours when it goes live.

it will reduce the servers load though, imagine the amount it is doing if you contact it every 45 mins as oppose to every 9 hours.

Probably got this yesturday, didn't noticed it until today. Final test WUs are releasd:

HAPPY NEW YEAR! We are starting to distribute our final test workunits, named "pt11". These take substantially longer than our previous test workunits. We expect to have our new server hardware in place within a few days, for out public launch. To all of our testers, thank you for making this possible, and please be patient if things don't work quite right for the next few days.

Estimated about 9 hours, close to what I estimated.
