    Chat button. Click.

    Chat button. Click.
    It really is that simple.
You must all be clicking in the wrong place.
    Bad aim or something.
In fact I'm sure of it.
If I can do it and Jason1478963 and Bender10 can do it, then at least one other person can do it.
    Maybe.

    Call it a challenge :P

I clicked and see an empty screen. I hear nothing and.... I have no mic I discover. My webcam -which doubles as mic- will not work under Win7. Have to reconnect using another box under WinXP, sorry. Just found out that I can type in that narrow white bar below

Hey, it's a quarter of an inch on my 17'' screen. It's smaller than the windows taskbar, and just as low positioned. Why is the shoutbox not on the left or right side?

I am with Dirk I can not see this line to type anything in, Must I download and install MIRC to reach this location? and If I must in order to jump into discussion can you high light these particular so this may be acceptable to all others!.
It almost appears I am not completely in the chatroom, when I do a whois on each member showing they result in actual connection points. When I try one on myself nothing happens!

Challenge me, or correct me, but don't ask me to die quietly.

It would be much better all round if you used an IRC client. The web -client is for when you are away from your home-pc.
I outlined the connection details in the original threads. http://amdusers.com/forum/content.php?123-CHAT-SATURDAY

If you Use firefox, add the Chatzilla extension.
Opera, I think still has a built in IRC client.
Or use one of the others like XChat etc.
There are lots and lots of options.
If you do sign in, try to leave your client open, then you will get to see who else came through and what the topics were.
It is quite common for IRC clients to stay logged in for months and even years and for there to be thousands of clients logged in to a single chat room, and many IRC clients will often be be logged into multiple chat rooms.
