how are you scored on it, just through time not shots fired and or missed ?

I think it's time and accuracy.

i have tried missing multiple shots but still hitting ocassionally or just shooting slowly with no misses and got pretty much the same score. so i think it must be a bit of each

I don't know... But I'll beat it. That Jason's Pong thing was making me mad yesterday, then look what happened.

you did pretty well, it gets fast though and i always seem to move the curser off the screen and then die because of it.

Yea that's one problem with it. You kinda have to get lucky and hit the 500 bonus alot. That helps too.
