stats - no red for 3 days

It has happened to me twice, very annoying.

I'm sorry to say that next time the stats are updated we'll have at least one red.
On Pirates@Home I've been struggling to keep us up in 4th but I can't compete against teams with several active users, and even worse when each of those has several computers at disposal, and I only have one...
So...we have just dropped to 5th place... the team X-Beyond The Frontier got itself above us.

Thanks for the heads up Neo, there are so few of us active members and so many projects.

It's inevitable that we'll lose somewhere. TSC has also been bad for us. We had 5 reds between Dec and Jan.

if someone is willing to PM me a pirates log on ill give it a go, see if my machine can recover any lost ground.

Pirates is open for registration, you can enter your registration and start crunching on your name anytime... but workunits are scarce these days. One has to have a sharpeye at their website to know when workunits are being released.

yep, i am already signed up but i cant get it to work. it says username invalid from inside BOINC

According to the stats I use, we are still in 4th place.

But we'll see tomorrow.

Work is very hard to get in Pirates. I have several PCs running BOINC and they are ready to go as soon as some work is released. Its a bit of a lottery as to the lucky computers that get the tasks to work on.

I agree we have lost ranks in TSC but that's what happens when nobody runs it.

I've been keeping an eye on the stats of the Pirates website the last few days, and we dropped to 5th just today, about 6 hours ago. It was when they released the newest batch of workunits that it happened. They are marked for processing for over 12 hours, and my computer won't download more than 10 before boinc complains that it can't download more because they wouldn't finish in time.
Actually, if the graph windows or screensaver aren't opened, then the workunit will be gone in 5 minutes instead of 12 hours... lol

If the Seti Classic pages are not updated shortly then we are going to have to record the 3 spot loss that occurred on that day when severall faster teams overtook.

It is a shame though because by my reconing we have made up those spots and a couple more since that page was posted, but there has been no update to the teams rank pages yet due to the delays from S@H.
