Who are you asking Chaz? If its me... I'm not running the IBM version... are you running it?
Actually I was asking anyone who's running it, lol
I tried it for a day, and it seems to run faster, but i need to run it longer to make any definite praises. I cant remember what kind of numbers I got before, but im sure none of my machines broke the 900 mark, maybe not even 800.
i think this weekend i'll reinstall 1.3 and run it and then try 1.4 again and compare.
Cool... let me know what kind of numbers you get so I know if it is worth switching to.
I just switch over from MDK9.2 to Gentoo linux using OPS= -O3 -march=athlon-xp -funroll-loops -fprefetch-loop-arrays -pipe and blackdown-1.4.1-01 and just installed ubero again seems fast commands I am using areHave to wait and see if it's worth the extra effort. Right now I am just going to have one xp 1800+ running at stock speed.Code:java -server -Xms64m -Xmx128m -cp Agent.jar ubero.agent.Agent -text
I have tried my hand at configuring an ftp server on a trial basis.
I have the windows version of IBM java sdk 1.4.0 if anyone wants it. Its 44mb in size.
Should I make it public, or should I require usernames and passwords?
If public, then the option to upload would have to be disabled, that could get out of hand. But if I set usernames I could allow creation of new directories, and file sharing may help a new user find what they want/need.
BTW my connection is only 128k/1.5m so downloads would be kinda slow.
Any suggestions?
Thats me ^^^^
Chaz,
If you let me download it, I would put it up on one of my other domains. That way we could let a web server host it and you wouldn't have to worry about it.
