I'm still not connecting......

I hope SOB is going BOINC on us. It sure seems like the same kinda problems. Maybe the SOB client has BOINC parts under it's hood. That would explain all the problems.

mine wont connect either, i am on usual adress NOT seventeenorbust.com but something like phs.net

Stop client


Start --> Run --> type regedit <enter>

click on folders

hkey_local_machine-->software-->LhDn-->sob-->config

Then select one left click on

serv_addr (it turns blue etc)

then right click modify

type seventeenorbust.com click O.K.


Make sure that you restart your client afterwards. Then confirm that it says seventeenorbus in the host section of the configuration screen. I did this and it works fine.

I did exactly that, even tried rebooting the machine and no luck.

SOB has started working again for me My ISP's DNS servers must have updated overnight. sb.pns.net is what I have for the serv_addr....I never changed anything

I have mine set to seventeenorbust.com

I'll try switching it back tonight.

forget doing anything it has reverted itself the stats are nice to look at again lol.
