    predictor speeds

just wondering what people speeds are for predictor, i have downlaoded new Boinc version 4.60 and have loaded all my projects.

so far two boinc tasks have completed with estimated times of 2:42 yet completed in 1:06 and 0:59. is this just me :?: or does it over-estimate for everyone.

seems a little odd that the pedictions are so far out. my seti predictions are only ever 30mins maximum out though.

Granted these posts are over a year old, but it's the first time I'm seeing these. I'm just finding it humorous, what with the name "Predictor" and yet they are so innacurate in predicting how long a project will take.

Sort of places a shadow of doubt over the purposed accuracy of their calculated predictions. Makes me wonder anyhow..

Well you'll find most BOINC projections of estimated time are off due to the inaccuracy of the BOINC benchmarking system.

Hence why BOINC optimised BOINC clients are so good.
