    Collatz Conjecture News

Windows CUDA 4.0 and CUDA 4.2 Versions
Due to a PBCAK (problem between chair and keyboard), the CUDA 4.2 apps were actually CUDA 4.0 and the wrong CUDA runtime DLL was included in the optimized applications zip file. This has now been corrected resulting in both CUDA 4.0 and CUDA 4.2 applications being available for 32 and 64-bit Windows.

I know the PBCAK problem all too well myself...

I think it should belong to the NP-Complete list of problems, as there has never been found a quick solution for it.

PBCAK sounds too much like user-error to me:
"See, what i really wanted was this, but I ended up doing that -what i do not want- by mistake/thick fingers/etc.",
along with the famous 1st-line helpdesk solution: replace user.

I'm a 2nd line person myself, I can/must correct mistakes made by 1st line..., establish whether it is a reproducable error and try to offer a new solution, decide it is a data error or decide it is a program error. In the last case 3rd line support comes into action.
