@ Dirk: I had many problems with BOINCStats BAM messing up my CPIDs so I have never tried it again. It took ages to resolve problems that BAM managed to create in seconds. Never EVER.
I solved the Leiden Classical "unable to get work" problem by following your instructions - thanks.

@Terry: fully agree. Now I'm in Canberra and my son is in Sydney I can follow him on Twitter. He has a job in an IT company in the city so he is "earning". He announced last weekend that he wants to spend his first pay cheque on buying a heap of WD red 3TB HDDs to upgrade his NAS. And there I was telling him to invest it I can still control some of my machines back home using LMI free but I miss the white noise!!! I've got one desktop and a laptop with me now and the limiting factor is bandwidth and upload/download limits on my mobile broadband. As I'm renting I don't want to go through the trouble of getting a contract signed up for ADSL or Cable internet so I have to watch out for projects with stupidly large bandwidth requirements (here's looking at you GPUGrid and Einstein).

I've read reviews that the Red line of WD hard drives has some really good features, but then I go into Newegg and read people's reviews and it's hit and miss. Sounds like they sent some good ones for website reviewing and they perform really well, but then when manufacturing in bulk it's 50/50 chance to get a good one or a door stopper.

I myself have moved away from 3.5'' hard drives, I'm now fully focused on moving all my hard drives to 2.5'' form factor and already have a couple of these (not this exact model but similar) to house them. In a 5.25'' slot you can fit up to 6x 2.5'' hdd

I got lucky when we moved down here to Tennessee I have a place out in the country where deer come right up to my deck and yet I have the fastest internet I have ever had at home, no limits on usage and speed of up to 30 MB 50 if I want to pay extra. And now they are talking about upping it to 108MB. Also we have the Tennessee Valley Authority and the price of a KwH is about 1/5th of what I was paying in Illinois. It's a crunchers paradise. Vaughan if you have something setting and want to throw a few more cycles at Skynet for a couple of weeks it might hold our place till I can put the 2 octos we build next month on it. After that I think we should be able to hold it and maybe gain a little as Ryan and I add more in the months to come.
