    Windows XP 64-bit RC2

Has anyone got any plans to try this out? I am very tempted but there is a part of me that can imagine the horrors I may encounter. LOL

What are you waiting for? Make the jump to 64-bit. Right now! Today! :P

It is amazing how much it helped me. Since I got mine I noticed all of the above:

    1. Started dating supermodels
    2. My pay at work was doubled for no reason
    3. I have no more aches and pains

I think I should have expected that though since Microsoft said I would notice a big improvement.

can you just add it to the existing 64bit operting system or if installed is it treated as new and wipes the drive.

I would hope that it would let you upgrade but I am not sure. I am going to install in on a second drive and see how I like it so I can always just switch back over to the first drive if it mucks me up.

I added Rel Cand 1 to my existing setup. The options allow a clean install into a fresh dir or drive.

    Haven't tried rc2 yet tho.

    I just downloaded a copy, now I need a 64-bit processor but

    1. I'm happily married (so that doesn't help me)
    2. at the current time I have no job except to watch a 3-year-old which doesn't pay me (money that is)
    3. no more aches and pains I can use that one

Dual boot then no worry! Again I say that, but I'll wait. I tried Beta with no major problems except when in XP pro, my antivirus kept finding or thinking a file in XP-64 was virus or at least suspicious. It would rename it and hose it, so I gave up for now. However, I'll get full version as soon as comes out. Got to put my 3500 to good use. lol.
