LMAO In the middle of an ice storm? School is closed and they even are letting the Army at Ft. Campbell report 2 hours late this morning. Must be nice to be in the southern Hemi. But it is nice not to be paying for air conditioning right now.

    Cheers Chaps!

It's a wet one up here in Queensland thanks to ex-tropical cyclone 'Oswald'

    No worries.
We'll put the BBQ & cooler on top of the garden table and keep the beer and snags coming

Dang Dave I hope you and yours are going to be OK. Looks like a real nasty storm. Even if it is spinning backwards. I went through one of your southern hemi typhoons back in 1973 on Okinawa. Spent 3 days hunkered down with My Okinawan landlord (the guy was 80+) drinking Saki. Got back to base and no one had even missed me.

If my sense of direction still works, Okinawa is as much in the southern hemisphere as Florida! Must have been the saki.....

No you are right it's not southern but a Pacific Typhoon compared to an Atlantic Hurricane. But I did see the aftermath of a southern one while in Brisbane on R&R from Vietnam in early '72.
