Linux day? Pity that Chemnitz (some may know it as Karl-Marx-Stadt) is too far away (731 km or 454 miles and takes 6 hours, 42 mins minimum).
Just playing with the idea of running Xubuntu and Lubuntu on my spare systems.

Lubuntu is reported to run on anything from a P3-800 with 128Mb or more memory, using a 8Mb video card or better. The ISO is only 697 Mb
Xubuntu needs a bit more memory (384 Mb) and a better video card, 32Mb+, but has the same low CPU requirement. The ISO is a mere 694 Mb and fits on a CD!

P3-800 means anything from a Duron or Athlon from around that speed will do just as well, and I got a box full of CPUs fitting that specification. 8 Mb video cards the same, even 32 Mb is plenty available.
I even still have the mobos that came with them, and the memory (133 Mhz SDRAM). Now for a way to get free power to run them...
