I remember buying it -SimCity- on a 3.5'' inch floppy for the PC,
and later for my son for his SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System), actually a far better version with seasons and a tiny bit of politics...

At the time I didn't have an IBM PC or console, but we did have the good old Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Good old days when I had to wait some 10 minutes for a game to load from a cassette tape before playing.
That is what I played in glorious 16 colors and 256x192 resolution!
